Default Cobb AP Firmware Update Hangup?

Tried posting this on Cobb's forums - but it keeps saying "invalid thread specified" when I hit post... so here goes.

Car: 08 STi
AP ordered from Perrin

I just downloaded the latest firmware for my AP - 1.2.6.6-5833. I can't for the life of me remember what the previous version was, but it was something like 1.2.6.5-xxxx. Anyways, after hitting the update firmware option in the AP software it started doing its thing... about 3 minutes later I got hung up on this screen...

I tried hitting "Next" since it wasn't grey'ed out - nothing happened. So I hit cancel and got a message saying, "There was an error during the update: 0". I went and hit Eject AP, and it automatically reconnected as I was going to the "About" screen on the AP... so I right clicked on the AP in the AP manager and hit "Identify AccessPort" - low and behold its reflecting the new firmware version of 1.2.6.6-5833". It also reflects 1.2.6.6-5833 in the About screen on the AP.

I'm doing my best to NOT install this thing to my car until I break 1k miles (currently at 500~ miles), but might do it tomorrow just to see if something is hosed.

Has anyone else seen this? Should I be concerned?

I got the same issue. Another member on IWSTI said to let it hang for 20 mins, then cancel and it'd work. I ended up reflashing my car and it turned out ok.

I let it hang for roughly 8-10 minutes... Its reflecting the updated firmware number on the AP and in the AP software - so I'm thinking it took. Just kinda curious as to why it hung up like that.

Probably some kind of bug.
