Default Ploblem installing EcuFlash

Ok so I have a tactrix cable that I'm borrowing to do some logs. I'm trying to get EcuFlash installed because from what I understand that is the only way to get the correct drivers for the cable. Problem is everytime I try to install it it fails both sets of driver installs. I'm installing the most current version. (v. 1.35) and my comp is running windows vista ultimate. Could it be some setting in Vista blocking the install? I'm running as administrator when I install and it doesn't seem to change anything, and yes I have uninstalled/reinstalled/restarted more times than I can count.

Yes I'm clicking ok and telling it to install the drivers anyway and it still fails. I'll try installing to c root when I get home this evening.

Anymore tips?

Well it still won't work no matter what backdoors I try to take. All I'm wanting to do is log, and this doesn't exactly make me want to flash my ecu with a program that apperantly has no support.
