Default Need help installing launch control

ok so in stalled stage 1 on my car today and i notice that the LC wasnt in the AP so once i downloaded it i tryed to install it. but its not working. So my question is do i have to uninstall the stage 1 map and then install the stage 1 w/LC to make it work or can i just download the stage 1 w/lc ontop of the old map? any input would be helpful

Yes you have to flash the car with the Stage 1 w/LC.

Don't use it LC is crap. I ran 12.8 with me driving and 13.2 with LC. Its bad for your car to. It pulls timing. its FTL.

yeah i heard good and bad about LC. but i got it installed to day to try it out and my car is IDEL REAL LOW when i engage cluch in first softly the car dies. im guessing the ECU is getting use to the new mod am i right? but about launching, when your doing it manualy dont you have to keep steping on the gas on and off until you engage the cluch. cause i see some videos where somone just holds the gas at a RPM and just engage the cluch but that wont build boost tho right?
