Default What else will be needed?

So I am scheduled for a tune at P & L Motorsports on the 19th of this month. Current setup (this is how I purchased the car) = TBE, most likely Invidia, hard to tell. Knock off HKS bov, and non functional OEM boost gauge with a stock airbox.

I have ordered a new Omori boost gauge today and Cobb Accessport 2.0. I am debating getting rid of the ****ty BOV in place of a Tial unit (I plan on running much higher boost in the future anyways). Question is, what else is "needed" per se to take advantage of this dyno session? A boost controller? Different BOV? Aftermarket wastegate?

for your stage 2, you are good with the invidia and the AP v2. The boost gauge would help - but with the stock omori you better be good at converting to psi from bar

The BOV is something I would ask Jorge about at P & L. I believe the only one he likes to tune with is the turbo xs but I can't remember for sure. Let him know you don't have a stock one and want to get a quality aftermarket one. He'll point you in the right direction.

A boost controller is a waste of time at your level of tuning. Maybe in the future if you upgrade turbos and so on and want finer tuning of the boost, then go with the GM or Prodrive unit.

External wastegates (EWG) will net you some gain in power but on a stock turbo, stage 2 set up, I wouldn't spend my money. Those gains would be better utilized in a larger turbo.

You can think about a fuel pump and injectors, but they are not needed on a stage 2 tune. If you plan on upgrading in the future and want to do them now, thats fine but once again talk to Jorge. When I tuned my stage 2, I put in a walbro 255lph and DW 740's because I may upgrade to a dom3 or green or something in the future. It runs perfect right now.

An intake can be helpful, but once again talk to Jorge about your current set up and future plans. Once again, an intake will net you some power now, but will be crucial when you upgrade turbos.

A header, while once again not necessary, could net you some gains.

Cliff Notes: Your tbe, the ap v2 is it. Talk to Jorge about everything else

Bring gas you want to be tuned on, get a compression test before you go, read the "before you tune" .pdf that is linked on the P&L website.

Thanks. Will do.

As for the boost gauge, it reads in PSI
