Default Trying to update my Firmware & getting an Error, Help?

I just tried to update my AP firmware and keep getting the message below. Called Cobb and they said “that’s weird you’ll have to send it back to us”. I don’t want to send my AP back, anyone run into this before? I’m stuck at firmware V1.2.4.1-4983. One other thing that’s funny is when I plug into my PC the Change Map screen comes up instead of it automatically going into the PC Comms mode. I’ve tried it both on my Laptop and home PC.

Help Please!

Hmm... i had something similar happen to me last time i updated my firmware. I was able to click next and finish even though it said the accessport didnt successfully disconnect after upgrade. I just plugged it back in to see if updated fine. Everything seems ok to me now.

Not sure if this is the same thing you have though.

I would try the update again.

If it is stuck in update mode, use the recovery tool, then update it again.

AP2 stuck on updating mode - COBB Forums

If you do send it back, it doesnt take long for them to fix it and you will have it back within a few days.
