Default Car Batteries: How Long do they Last

My Sti has about 21000 miles on it and from what I can see still has the stock battery, now I believe that my battery is starting to die. I left my car overnight and the next day it had no power. I am now looking to get a new one maybe Braille but I run a 5 channel amp and a sub and I am wondering if the braille provides enough power or do i need something bigger.

You sure your amp isnt sucking power while the car is off or left a light on. One dead overnight does not sound like a bad battery.

My 05 STI's battery went just last month. I had noticed less and less power coming over time. It first died after accidentally leaving the headlights on for five hours, then it became as small as leaving an interior light on for 45 minutes and the car wouldn't start.

Subaru really didn't put the greatest battery in the world in there. In fact it appears to be a POS. I would expect that since you have an 05 your battery is starting to wear down.

HOW can you leave your headlights on? The headlights are tied to the key. If you turn the car off your headlight are off.

You can probably guess what happens if you don't turn the car off....

The Braille battery isn't for powering amps and running subs...it's meant to start the car and be light weight. Get a yellow top battery for running stereo stuff.
