Default Would getting a tune be a bit dangerous now?

Considering I have 11,400 miles on my '07 sti.

The car was already flashed when I drove the car home from the dealer. Do you guys think damage has already happened and that a tune will only amplify the problem?

Insight from people who decided to get a tune or stage 1 etc. after quite a few miles.

I know a guy locally who's car was stock and was running a stage 0 from gabedude and had ring land failure .

I would say its really all prefference. Anyone could argue that it might amplify the problem. But in my view its DEFINATLY worth a shot. If you can run smoother, why not? Besides if its gunna happen "its gonna happen" so why not be protuned untill it does

Do a compression/leakdown test and see what the results are first.
