Default underboosting after reflash on 2007

Hey guys,

I just installed a catless downpipe along with my catback for my 2007 STi, and then used AccessPort to reflash the car to stage 2 v1.04. This was the first time I reflashed the car, had been running stock tune until yesterday. The AP says it was successfully installed and the map successfully reflashed, but I notice no difference at all while driving, and the AP Live Data monitoring says I am peaking at ~14.2 psi, while I know the boost target for the stage 2 map is 18. I can't figure out what the problem is, and tried reflashing to Cobb's "stock mode" and back, as well as reflashing with my turbo timer off so that it didn't activate after the reflash when I turned the key off, nothing has made a difference. The only other thing I can think of that might be interfering is that I took Cobb's advice regarding catless exhaust on 2007 STi and revised the boost control system. Cobb instructs you to install two OEM part numbers, a replacement vaccuum line and a larger restrictor pill, and I had my local dealership do this. Here is the shortcut to the Cobb article in which they discuss this. CobbTuning.com - Service Bulletin: 07 WRX/STi Overboosting with Catless Exhaust

I don't actually think that's what my problem is, since I would think that would reflash, which retunes AVCS and other parameters besides the boost level, would still cause the car to feel somewhat different. If anyone has any help for me out there, I would really appreciate it. I have a race with SCCA this weekend and would love to have the stage 2 working properly by then.

Buy a Boost controller and ask your Protuner .
