Default Cobb Ap Question

my car was recently broken into and they stole my ap2 from the trunk. i know it isn't the best place to keep it but who knew it would get broken into that night. i had just finished installing the stg 2 map earlier. what are my options of retrieving my stock map? the stealership? also, i was planning on going gt30 this summer,if i get a new ap will it recognize the cars ecu since the stock map isn't loaded? im so frustrated.... any input is greatly appreciated! cheers - sorat

Dunno about getting your stock map. I guess the stealership perhaps?

But yes, if you get a new AP it will recognize. For instance, if you purchase a used car that hasn't been unmarried from it's previous AP, you can overwrite.

Cobb has a stock mode map on their site. I assume it's exactly the same as factory map.

Another AP should override the previous tune. I'd contact cobb to make sure that will do. If nothing works, I guess you can go opensource and use the stock parameters. You'll have to find the stock parameters from somewhere else in that case.
