Well before you do anything, might want to get a copy of your stock 2007 STi map. If you run into any trouble just re-flash it to stock.

dude just go on the romraider forums, you need a name to get the software anyways

download enginuity and ecu flash and the definitions for your car

ecuflash pulls and flashes enginuity tunes it

you can pay for new maps but why dont you just get protuned if your gunna do that...the object of opensource is tuning it yourself

you can change basically EVERYTHING

just lurk on the romraider and openecu.org forums search there it will answer almost all of your questions

^Especially with the new one. It has a bunch more tables.

If you want to learn yourself, that's fine. Just make sure you research, make only very small changes at first, and monitor the hell out of it.

Thanks everyone again for the feedback. I feel absolutely retarted for not seeing the answers to my AP questions in the romraider FAQ!!!!

Aside from that, I'm glad that my starting a thread about using RomRaider to play with my AP basemap has been such a help to everyone else!

Here's a good starter FAQ

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1462661

some of the sites you should visit

RomRaider - Open Source ECU Tools | RomRaider / Rom Raider
Open Source ECU ROMS
Main Page - OpenECU
tactrix

Also, for a wideband they recommend the Innovate LC-1.

Part of the reason is because ECUFlash does a check before flashing to see what parts of the tune have changed, and only flashes the ones that have.

Still worries me though. It seems that boost, timing, fueling, and probably many other tables are all in the same memory area, and I just keep flashing away at that spot.

Like I always say, Ill have a nice thread on it if/when it happens to me. Ive flashed ALOT.

Here's an article that reviews ap. But the tuning procedure he uses is general enough that it can be used with enginuity.
