this is probably the stupidest question but does reseting the car by disconnecting the battery get rid of the reflash? cause i was driving and accidently had the dccd all the way to the back and a cel and cruise blink came on..i pulled over and reset my battery....cel went away and was just wondering if is reset the ecu back to the stock tune

No. EcuFlash writes the nonvolatile flash memory of the CPU in the ECU. These changes stick until you modify them again. The RAM of the CPU in your ECU however, loses its contents when you disconnect the battery. This RAM contains many parameters which the ECU "learns" during the course of running your engine. It also stores CEL data here. So when you start driving the car again after disconnecting the battery, you should expect it to run a little differently for a while. The same is true when you reflash the ECU, because the reflashing program is put into the RAM which also wipes out this learned data.

1-2 weeks IMHO. People say all kinds of different things, but for my tunes, after a solid week, things feel so much like they should I cant tell.
