Default Cannot communicate with ecu

I have been logging my sti using enginuity(romraider) and ecuexplorer. This weekend I installed my wbo2 sensor, and downloaded the test release of enginuity that has compatability with the lc-1. I moved all the definitions to the new test release folder. I now am unable to connect to my ecu, I also cannot connect to my ecu via ecuexplorer. I am worried there is something wrong with my ecu. While I was running the wire from my LC-1 through the dash I forgot to disconnect the battery. I wasnt tapping into any wires at the time, just snaking the wire through the jungle under the dash. While I was doing this my wife said she smelled something electrical. I didnt notice anything. Well the rest of the install went fine and now no communication between the laptop and the ecu. Both com ports on my laptop are working as they will communicate with the LC-1. I have no cel and the car runs fine, all my accessories work. I will try to connect to my wifes wrx tonight to see if somehow I have some program issues.

Anyone have any ideas???

Does anyone know the pinout for the obd2 port? Want to make sure there is still power and ground present at the connector.

Well I figured out my problem, for some reason I needed to reinstall the drivers for the tactrix cable. It had already been installed, weird. Anyway got some good logs, ready to make my trip to montana.
