It's not the software that give you the smoothness, it's the tuner's abilities to provide if it's a good or bad tune.

The software is only a tool...

This is bull**** the tune has no meaning on what is used to do the tune. The tune is all about who does the tune.

Can you explain exactly what advantage the AP has over open source in your point? I don't understand what you're trying to say.

if there is a limit to the number of times the ECU can be reflashed, is there a need to unmarry the Cobb before taking the car in for routine maint (as part of the 2 year/24k mile free service policy that came with the new car)?
