Do not just throw it in the car and drive. Install it and then go to the TXS site and grab the base map and parameters files and load them up. You might all so want to make sure you have the latest firmware loaded too.

if i replace the stock exahust to a catless bellmouth 3" DP and a 3" TBE and install the UTEC (with the maps set to 'stage 1 - stock'), will i be able to avoid o2 sensor lights?

- if you run a turbo-back exhaust you should use the stage 2 map from TXS, the sti's are weird about the CEL coming on with catless exhaust.. i have the TXS TBE with 4" DP and catted midpipe and i havent had trouble.. my friend has the catless DP and he hasnt had problems running stock

- you cannot adjust the range of the O2 sensor with the utec (or any other computer that i know of) a stock spec. oxygen sensor has a very narrow range of sensitivity, that's why it's suggested to go with a wideband O2 for advanced tuning
