Default Perrin Big MAF ACTUAL Inside Diameter

Who has the down low on the ACTUAL ID of the perrin big maf?

Perrin says that it is 3" ID when you talk to them directly. But almost EVERYONE else says that its 3.25 or around 83mm ID

Anyone know 100% what it is?

Never mind...Found it

"The i.d. on the Perrin is 77mm (or 3.0315in) on the inlet side and it necks down to 67mm on the exit side"

I will leave this thread open just for the info though!

Thanks guys

Measuring one right now, it is 3" ID, 76mm-77mm. I'm just using a measuring tape, so It may be 1mm off or so.

I see most people with just the 65mm, what would the benifit be from upgrading to the 70mm intake lets say if your stage 2

Stage two you will see no benefit from a bigger intake..the benefit comes when you start maxing out your MAF, then you need to go bigger.

Ah ok this makes sense! Now with the upgraded turbo inlet like the GMS.. There would be no gain seen either, just a smooth air flow? Sorry now I have defiantly...

Gains would be minimal to none with a stock turbo.

If you want more info on it feel free to PM me.
