Default EcuTek Stage 2 Flash Program

The tuner flashing me with stage two is using the EcuTek program. Do any of you have it?

How good is the program and how reliable is it?

its a widely used tuning software... im sure someone out there has it... you never really hear of any issues specific to the software anyway... its always issues with the tune itself.

Well im going with a stg 2 flash, so its over the counter software, I need not worry about the tune until I get a dyno tune.

Just worried about the flash since i've been hearing 07's dont respond well to flashes.

over the counter? you should not be tuning the car yourself... and personally i think mail-in tunes are a bad idea...

I'm using ecutek, tuned over the internet by I-Speed. So far so good. I'm very happy with my tune, and I-Speed is lightning fast when it comes to tuning and adjusting the tune

"over the counter" - Preloaded program is what i meant by that. I am not tuning it myself...a tuner is loading the flash.

Over the counter is like Of the shelf map of Cobb if I'm not mistaken.

I-Speed has several maps ready and you juct need to reflash your own ecu using the ecutek cable. And they can always fine tune your car if you email them your datalog. It's very easy to do and very economical too.

I rather road tune here in the Philippines than to pay for dyno time, road tuning here is much cheaper, legal fines for speeding is minimal, that is if you don't like briving the enforcer or the enforcer won't take your brive.

I have ECUtek programming on my 07. I have had no problems with it. It's a little pain having to switch from map to map. But if I-SPEED tunes it you wont have any problems.
