Cobb AP response setting?

i just heard about a program about th AP that can inprove your accereration response. anyone using it or know about it?

I was trying to find the answer to the question. I heard you could improve the throttle response by using Cobb Accessport, to eliminate the "drive by wire" lag. Does anyone know how?

You buy the AP, and then flash your car to Stage 1. It helps the 07 tremendously.

Spend some time searching this site, and you'll find tons of info on this topic.

so stage1 improves the throttle response? or do they have a different thing for the throttle response only? idk i just heard it from a friend and wanted to know.

stage 1 will help but stage 2 is where it's at.

Yes, just installing the Stage 1 map will make a huge difference. I can't personally comment on Stage 2 since I am not there yet, but from everything I have heard it is a beautiful thing.

My STI was tuned professionally using the AP but it still has lag, I think I'm going to have to take it back and have them retune it then... I was reading cobbtuning.com and realized, like you said, that its integrated into the Stage maps that Cobb has online.. To bad I cant download just the revision for the lag. Thanks!!!! Drive safe

any turbo car will have lag. It's the nature of the beast.

Go back to your tuner and request that he copy in the European STI throttle mapping. I'm sure it's on the RomRaider board somewhere. But that supposedly has a much better curve.

Thanks guys. I spoke to cobb and they updated my fuel map to result in better throttle response(smoother) and a knock correction was made to help the ECU learn a little better. I'll try it out and let you know the difference.
