Default getting tuned soon, just a few questions..

Im running a catless dp on my 07 STi and im getting a tune this coming friday. I was wondering if I need to replace my restrictor pill with the suggested pill that cobb recommended or get a boost solenoid, since 07s with catless downpipes are said to have overboosting problems.

any suggestions? thanks!

A 3-port solenoid will help with overall response and boost control, but there is no problem with tuning catless 07 STI's with the stock solenoid and restrictor. The cobb maps just are not set up for catless cars and end up overboosting on catless applications.

Thanks

to clarify, Im running cobb stage 2 with a catless downpipe right now, does that make a difference or is it just the same and its safe?
