Default Upload AP v1.04 on a Mac anyone?

I am trying to upload the Stage 2 91 octane v1.04 to my Accessport on my mac. It is my only computer. Has anyone else had trouble with this or am I just doing something wrong? When I hit "download map" it downloads it in about 2 seconds and puts it on my desktop and when I click the map it just says there is no application that can open the file. (accessport is plugged in and on)

I'll be doing the same thing, but waiting on my '08 arrival to get the AP. If it won't work under OS X, I'll force myself to hop on over to XP (using VMWare's Fusion, but Parallel's works just as well)

Just did it on a friend of mine's computer. No problems, I'm not sure if you even can upload the accessport through a Mac (Mac OS X) for future reference.

The only part of the AP that is Mac compatible are the PDF's on the cd that comes in the box...

XP must be used to load maps on to the unit, unless you are running Fusion or Parallels on your (Intel) Mac. It sucks I know, but its better than no AP at all!

I emailed Cobb back in Jan and got this reply. I have been watching but nothing yet. I would email Justin and ask him when they expect it. No Mac compatibility no AP!

Dan,

We expect to have the Mac compatibility this February. Please keep an eye on our website for further development and new product release information. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Cheers,
Justin

I wouldn't hold your breath, but theres a glimmer of hope there. Maybe if enough people request it they'll release buggy version for us

OK, for all of you Mac Guys, the solution is here...but only if you have an Intel Mac...here is the link from the cobbforums page. It is still in Beta, and I have been working with Cobb to get it going and It works great on my system..

Well I'll be damned. Thanks for the link MacSTi, and your efforts with Cobb to get this developed.

If you have any bug reports, as this is still a beta. Please log onto www.cobbforums.com and go into the accessport general section and post in the sticky for the mac beta. MrBell is the contact there or just PM me and I will address it with him. When you post, please include your OS specs and system specs and what version of AP you have.

Thanks very much! Just found out I'll be waiting for my '08 now until mid-April (#$%#$), so maybe there will be later betas or a production release before I need it, but this just gives me another reason to buy the AP. You and Cobb both rock.
