IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | I will be going for a protune within one week. I currently am stage 2 with the following mods: 3' TBE K&N short ram EL headers Up pipe FMIC Walboro fp 720cc injectors I've read many threads with people having similar mods getting dyno tuned and having problems holding boost up top. Meaning they go from 20psi necking down to about 15psi up top. Will an after market boost solenoid fix this probem? If so, which one is best for my set up? This ad is not endorsed by this member. From what others say the other ones are more accurate for hitting target boost levels but, Im not sure how much you'll feel it driving on the stock turbo... |

But some of these shops are getting 320ish whp from the stock VF39. 350whp is my goal on the stock VF39 on pump. I have more mods than the STI's that hit the 320 mark. I hope AMR will get me there "safely". |

| Professional STI Driver | 320 whp is definitely attainable on the vf39. Im at 300 whp with a header, APS CAI, Turbo XS TMIC, Invidia V3 downpipe with stock catback. My car still has power left, but the tune is very safe. Once I get meth I am hoping for around 340 WHP and close to 400 WTQ. |
