Default Best Boost Solenoid

I will be going for a protune within one week. I currently am stage 2 with the following mods:

3' TBE
K&N short ram
EL headers
Up pipe
FMIC
Walboro fp
720cc injectors

I've read many threads with people having similar mods getting dyno tuned and having problems holding boost up top. Meaning they go from 20psi necking down to about 15psi up top. Will an after market boost solenoid fix this probem? If so, which one is best for my set up?

the prodrive is identical to the gm.
the perrin is identical to the grainger.

and no, a bcs will not help the vf39 turbo hold boost to redline. the turbo simply is too small and doesn't flow enough to hold that much boost at redline. however, it will allow your turbo to hit and hold boost more accurately.

I think a new turbo is around the corner for you!! Im in the same boat as you... I think the stock EBS is good for your set up. From what others say the other ones are more accurate for hitting target boost levels but, Im not sure how much you'll feel it driving on the stock turbo...

Yeah. The stock turbo may not fit the bill for 400+whp. But some of these shops are getting 320ish whp from the stock VF39.

350whp is my goal on the stock VF39 on pump. I have more mods than the STI's that hit the 320 mark. I hope AMR will get me there "safely".

320 whp is definitely attainable on the vf39. Im at 300 whp with a header, APS CAI, Turbo XS TMIC, Invidia V3 downpipe with stock catback. My car still has power left, but the tune is very safe. Once I get meth I am hoping for around 340 WHP and close to 400 WTQ.

Mods include stock turbo, stock injectors, FMIC, Inlet Pipe, Intake, TBE, Fuel Pump, Boost solenoid. My tuner said its the best tq he has seen on stock turbo so im pretty happy. =) Props to Agile who fixed everything and has been really good to me, i will recommend them to anyone trying to do any mod.

I have no Exp with AP but from what I saw you did not mention your EM> I have a UTEC. I did the GM on my car with great success. it was really easy to do and tune for. Im not sure but I cant really see using it with the AP from what I have read. And no, the vf39 wont hold till redline.
