Default Newb here, with a few questions.

Hey guys,

So I was reading on the cobb ap and I got curious. I am an old school type of guy. I am young, but I prefer carbs! I am a dedicated ustang owner but looking to enter the STi world very soon. I am a hp junkie, who isn't, lol. So My questions are:

When purchasing a stage 2 COBB from them, it comes with the COBB turbo back exhaust, and the Stage 1 stuff.

Stage 2 Kit Includes:
- AccessPORT
- Quick Start User Guide
- USB Cable
- OBDII Connector
- Software CD
- COBB Downpipe
- COBB Cat Back Exhaust

So if I was to purchase this, and hook it all up (Exhaust and AP), Would the AP have the stage 2 maps on it?

After installing and upgrading computer is dyno tuning needed? Would street tuning be suitable? Whay about tuning in general, Is it needed after the ECU upgrade and exhaust install?

Nik!

yes teh accessport has the stage 1 and stage 2 maps on it and it has maps for us down in ca who only have 91 octane and then it has 93 octane for the rest of the world. Unless youve researched all the other exhausts out there u should check out different exhausts to fit your tastes. Dyno tuning is not needed but it is highly recommended that you do so just to be safer and make more power. Street tuning is also an option but if you are thinking of doing it yourself you better make sure you know what you are doing.

Yes u can use a Cobb of the shelf map, but if you really want your car to run amazing you are gonna want to get you own custom pro tune, it will really bring your sti to life.
