You need the cobb accessport version 2 (v2) for the 2.5L engine. go to importimageonline.com or one of the other vendors that are here on the selling vendor forms.
The 2.0 version will not work in your car.

Depends on where you go. There are a bunch of shops that advertise here that have them. Just look around a bit, someone will have one. Price? 695 w/ free shipping, usually FedEx overnight or 2-day.

I'm sure that you can find version 1 also, but I wouldn't recommend it after seeing how well V2 is doing.. Check ebay maybe craigs list too... don't just settle for that over pricing.. Go to importimageonline.. or better yet call him

If you look at the vendors advertising here, there is no back order, most have it in stock.

Hi,

It might be a shot in the dark, but here is a guy on the Cobb message board who traded his 07 and is selling his ap. He is only asking $500

Make sure it works and is unmarried from his ECU and you'll be golden!

Sorry, a couple of noob questions re: AP2

1) Is "unmarrying" the same as the "uninstallation" procedure in the Cobb AP manual?

2) What downsides/gotchas are there in buying a used/unmarried AP2?

Thanks,
G.

1) Yeah same thing, the AP basically flashes back your stock map and closes any affiliations it once had with your ECU.

2) No downside to a used one if it's unmarried. If it is still married to some car's ECU and you get it it won't connect to yours or be able to flash and it is then basically a very expensive paper weight. Cobb was smart and wants to make money that's why they only allow the AP to be able to flash one car.
