Default Turbo Timer

I am getting a HKS turbo timer and harness for my 07 sti. Will this work with my car? Will anything stop working after I install this? Anything will help.

You really do not need one on a stock turbo car, The subaru coolant system recircs even after the car is shut down for the cool down period. Now if you have a upgraded turbo that in turn generates more heat, it helps somewhat on the longevity of its life. Me personally, I would use the money for something along the lines of rear sway and endlinks for a first mod. Other suggestions??

If you haven't bought it yet, don't. A turbo timer is a complete waste of money for any Subaru. Our turbos are oil AND water cooled. Since they are water cooled the heat of the turbo causes water to continue to flow through the turbo even after the car has been shut off.

Moral of story: don't buy a turbo timer and research mods before you purchase them.
