Question Flashing CEL

OK, this isn't a misfire question! why is my cruise and CEL flashing!!?? blah... I have an 06 and I was installing a AEM wideband gauge today and I saw this little green plug under the dash... It was unplugged so, I logically plugged it back in. I have a Utec BTW. And when I but turned the key to AXU the CEL was flashing and the coolant fans were cycling in and out... I unplugged it and things were fine... I just want to know what the hell this plug is for? Thanks for all the input!! Dave

Just unplug it. it puts the car in test mode which allows the ECU to be relfashed. I have no clue if Utec uses it but I have to do it if I want to relfash a different map to my car using my accessport. Oh and by the way everything cycles because thats what it does in test mode, test things haha
