Default questions for Cobb APv1

I would like to ask two things:

1.) If an AP v1 is for a 2006 sti model, can it be installed in a 2005 model sti? It is unmarried.
2.) Would Cobb AP maps like stage 2 octane 91 or 93 safe on running at 90 to 100 F plus temperatures? or It is well to be a blown engine?

Would appreciate some replies... Thanks!

Default Re: questions for Cobb APv1

The original AP's will only work for the specific model year they were programed for.

The car's ECU can learn and change the tune for temps so those amounts shouldn't be a problem for the AP maps. The AP maps were engineered for reliability first.
