Default 05 STI dyno at GST

What do you guys think?
# are kinda low because car is mostly stock.
This is a 05 STI with 20k miles on it.
Only mod is a driveshaft and Cobb APV2.
Running the Cobb Stage 1 CA gas OTS map.
I see max around mid 17 psi boost.
Compare to some of you, this is small fry. But I thought I'd post it as when I was looking, it was nearly impossible to find stock and mildly stock car dyno curves.
Thanks to Mike at GST for the baseline. He kindly talked me out of a protune. Honest guy.

good numbers you should have gotten a few move MODS like a TBE and you could have gotten better numbers.

Typical #'s for stage 1. (no sarcasem)

With turboback or a downpipe, fuel pump, intake you can see more.

You have a lot of mods.
I will be happy with 300 torque and what ever HP I can get.
Car feels pretty good now. However due to my right foot, MPG taken a nose dive.
I guess exhaust is next.
Are there any header out there that can fit under the stock front under tray?

Yes I think the AF is a little rich.
Questions is do I want to spend the extra money to get the AF more leaner and maybe a few more HP or do I rather wait to do the exhaust and do a tune together.
Hard choice.
I know everyone said to get a 3" turbo back exhaust. Problem is how is the response when I am not in boost. 70% of the time I am not in boost and if a 3" is going to force me into boost to overtake, then it would suck in the long run.
Has anyone dyno their car at GST with smaller than 3"? Let's say 2.5" or 60mm turbo back exhaust? Also with CAT?

First of, try to get all the mods first before tuning if possible.

Second, I'd stick with the stock headers.

Third, a full TBE will be noiser depending on which one you go with. I'm running the stock catback and a 3" dp and I'm happy with it, and my numbers are doing fine as well.

Forget the gas milage on this car, this car gets the same gas milage of an SL-65. I'm getting about 220 freeway, but take into account I play with the turbo sometimes.

That's impressive for a stock 04.
But I think 04 probably have the most aggressive tune of all the USDM STi.
Stock 04 was tested in the 1/4 to be around 12.8 if I remember.
Good numbers.

Here is the latest update.
Now at stage 2 (more like 1.5)

Base line: Cobb OTS stage 2, CA 91, bellmouth 3" shorty down pipe with high flow cat. Prodrive last cat delete pipe. Stock cat back exhaust. (I am in CA, I need the sleeper look) OEM BCS.
Test: Same as above but with GM BCS and protune by Mike.

So I was almost 300 ft-lb in the end.
You will notice that just a DP and Cobb OTS stage 2 doesn't add any more power than Cobb OTS stage 1. That is because max boost was at 18 PSI, while stage 1 I was just 0.5 PSI less.

Protune is at 20.4 PSI max taper to 17 PSI? Don't recall exactly.
My injectors are maxed at 95% duty.
This is all on crap CA91 gas from a no-name gas station, USA gas?
I want to tune for worst case condition.

Next step, any suggestion on what I can do to get the torque to spread to upper RPM more, thus gain more HP?
Would love to hold 300 ft-lb from 3400 ~ 5800 RPM.
I wonder if the stock VF39 can hold 20 PSI to redline, would've love that. But I think I will for sure need larger injector and maybe pump.
For now I am relearning how to drive this car again. Very happy with the results... for now.

That is pretty good for not even Stage 2. My Stage 2 at GST with a GReddy Evo 2 and catless TiTek dp netted me 262hp and 299tq.
