Ok Guys since the Hydra will not be here till August sometime I am wondering if I should go with the Xede until next summer.

I only have a Perrin light Pulley, JIC Ti Catback, Perrin Downpipe, Staticx Grounding.

I was going to wait for Hyrda before I started adding other MODS.

So do you think the Xede will be worth the money for now?

Any mods you guys think I should do while waiting for the Hydra please feel free to suggest them.

Default FS: NEW WRX Spoiler WRB

Intake seems to be a waste without EM, more of a looks thing from all the post I have read...The headers are on the list for after Hydra so I can tune for them.

Does Accessport does not have the tunablity of xede as I can tell, without the upgrade part that is

Default spec r 520 kits

The XEDE can do fine for just about any mods. On the other hand it costs as much as any other parallel ECU. So I guess it will a double expense which you can partially recover by selling it. I myself want to go to ECUTEC but I am tempted to go XEDE since it is out, tested and it gets the job done. And hopefully it would have a plug and play harness by th time I am ready.

Regards

Nick

if you can get a utec or if the accessport will work for your current needs i would recommend them. i would predict the resale of either of those will be higher when you decide to go with the hydra. also does the xede still hard wire in? the other 2 solutions will keep all wiring in tact.

.... I just test drove my buddie's black STi w/ XEDE. His car is almost stock but it's power delivery is unreal. It makes my modded STi feel weak in comparison. So far, he has no problems with his piggyback, plus he tear's up Vettes with ease. Good luck deciding Nick, cuz I am ready to get XEDE as well. I paid for my ECUTEK reflash in January, and still nothing has been released @ my local Suby shop. I am tired of waiting. :x
