AP + DP enough for Stage 2?

I'm getting the AP very shortly and figured I may as well jump right into stage 2. My question is can I run Stage 2 with a downpipe only or do I have to get the CBE as well?

Just a downpipe is needed to run the Off-the-shelf stage2 map from cobb.

Downpipe only, catback just adds sound and about 5-7hp
