Default Latest cobb firmware causing issues?

Updated my AP v2 to the latest firmware on the cobb website and now my AP is acting a little weird. When I select 'live data' or 'fuel economy' only the one I select first will load/work. All other menus are fine, but to get the fuel economy (if live data selected first) to work, I need to unplug and reconnect. Posted this on the cobb forums as well and heard it is a known glitch, anyone else having this issue?

I was right about to update mine also. I don't really ever use those features any ways, so all prolly still go ahead. I also noticed the later released models of the v.2, had a flex joint at the obd-II connector. Very good idea, I've alwase been worried that mine would disconnect mid flash. Im disapointed to see that these types of cables weren't released in the earlier models

I switched back and forth between fuel economy and live data this morning... seemed to work just fine for me.

I am having the same issue! However, another issue is that the AP manager (when the AP is connected to the PC) shows that the maps in my AP are old version; whats up with that?

I emailed cobb.......they said it is a known glitch (for the problem I stated above). They are working on a fix and should have it resolved. They are pretty good with their customer service. Stay tuned for an update I guess.

COBB changed the map format to make it smaller, and probably added some things, too. You'll need to have your custom maps converted by the tuner who made them, or go to COBBs website to get the converted OTS maps.

My AP/updater locked up during the firmware update. I tried a few things that cobb recommended, but didnt fix it. My AP is stuck in the "updating" screen and now the computer wont recognize it. I had to cut my call short as my lunch was over, but I am calling them again tonight to see if I can get it resolved.

I am having similar problems. It finished updating all of the information, then I tried to see the new features while going to school, but when I plugged it into the car and tried to select anything (change map, live data, fuel economy, etc.) the AP just shows that it is trying to communicate with the car. I unplugged it and did it again, but was not able to fix the problem. I am going to try to download all of the new versions again to see if that will fix the problem. I am stuck at home now, so I won't be able to do it until midnight. I hope that if it is a problem, Cobb can fix it as soon as possible, since I won't be able to use any of the maps without the AP... Thank God I left Stage 2 instead of anti theft last night. I usually put that before I go to sleep, but I was kind of tired yesterday and decided to just leave the Stage 2.

So what happens if my protuner has shut it's doors for good? Will my custom protuned map work on my car? I havent done the update yet, but I'd like to.

Update to my post above. Spoke with Cobb twice today. We tried several things to get it to connect to the computer so I could redo the update. Nothing was successful. I have a service # and I am shipping my AP back to Cobb tomorrow. Said it should be reset and back to me in about 1 1/2 weeks.

No rush as I dont need it right away. But I hope they get all the bugs out.
