Is this firmware update only for the v2 Accessport? I have the v1 Accessport for my 04 STi and haven't used it for a while. I am back on the east coast and need to load a 93 oct stg 2 map.

After I updated to the new firmwate, wine wouldn't reconize the maps (OTS) that were on it before from before. I just reloaded it with the new versions from the site and it works fine. Is the "stock" saved map vechile specific? I'd hate to have lost that one for good. All other functionality works.

Something that my tuner discovered while tuning my car was that the earlier APs that came black Cobb "C" on the OBD connector had issues loadding maps after the firmware update but the newer OBD connectors with the red Cobb "C" work fine. He recommended me contacting Cobb to exchange mine. You all with issues check and see what color your "C" is.

If you read the update page on cobbs website. it tells you the old odb connector doesnt work. before you update. I have updated and not had a single problem.
