I have no em and am protuned on my stock ecu. You can still unlock alot of power through the stock ecu, you just wont have alot of the luxury features of em(map switch, flat foot shift, launch control, etc). I only spent 300 on my stage 2 tune which is noticeably better than the basic stage 2 map for a cobb which costs about twice as much. It was a real good deal to hold me off till i can really afford good em with a tune.

Isn't protune just a generic term used throughout the performance community? Cobb didn't invent the term did they?
