Default 07 STI, Overboost & AP got stolen. Need some suggestion :/

Over boosting issue. I follow the method on cobb website and replaced the line and the pill but my car are still over boosting. Fuel cut than code pop. I do want a suggestion from you guys what should I do next to get it off my back. My set up are Invidia catless downpipe & exhaust, K&N Typhon, HKS BOV recirculated. Should I get a catted downpipe instead or should I get a boost controller to lower the boost?

Also my car got broken in to and the access port got stolen. Do i have to spend the money again to get a brand new one? I still got the usb cable and the connector, they only took the lcd unit which they cant even use. :/

At last i'm on stage2 right now before my accessport got stolen and if I take off the battery will the ECU reset to factory map or will it still be stage 2.

Any help will be great. I'm totally lost and dont know what should I do after my accessport got stolen & the current overboost issue. :/

Swap the catless for catted, lose the BOV and youre good.

Alright I will give that a try. I might get the invidia catted. It should do fine right?

Also do you guys know what map I'm running still cause I just took the battery off. Am I still on the stage 2 or it reset to factory map?

as long as you flashed a base map stage 2 it will still be there. the only thing erased with disconnecting the battery is the real time map. And also about the overboosting thing i believe that cobb has some info on their website about not running a catless or catted downpipe on an 07 sti without being protuned. Not sure but i think i heard something about that...

Yeah catless on an 07 is bad news. I dunno why people don't read, no offense to the OP, but its all over Cobb's website and when you download the maps to not run a catless DP with their OTS maps they're simply not setup for the. If Cobb made their map for a catless setup then by all means run it but they DID NOT. If you want to be catless put the catless DP on in the parking lot of your tuner's shop then drive onto the dyno.

Man, stay with the cat-less setup- you'll be happier. You'll have more POWER Get your waste-gate ported (bigger) or go with an external. YOU could even port the waste-gate if you know how to use a 'dremel' tool and follow directions. If you just want to leave the cat-less setup on and not go ported or external, then just put your exhaust silencer on (if you have one) and your boost creeping issue will go away, as would that boxer rumble... Port the stock waste-gate (it's cheaper) FTW!

p.s. Don't go back- keep moving forward with your modifications until your ready to get something different. Understand, that with every mod, you're going to have some negative effects as well. It's up to you to fix/support those negative effects so that they are no longer existent, and your engine/setup can run at it's peak potential, safely. That's how it's done.

Why do all that when drilling your restrictor pill may work.

Try removing it and see if your boost is still behaving badly. Thats a free job that may be just what you need until you get the car tuned. or get another AP to help find the solution.

You should be able to get an AP at a better rate if all is in order. Call up Cobb tuning about it. Did you get a police report?

I did ordered a new set of line and pill as suggested from Cobb but doesnt help. I emailed Cobb. Chris is trying to help me out now. He told me to actually take out the whole pill and just run the line. The car actually feel alot smoother but than I still got fuel cut at the same speed. Gona reset my ECU and try it again. I doubt it will fix it.

I didnt get a police report and yeah they do offer me a better price but I need to send my ECU in so they know Im using their map.

Gona talk to Harman motive see if they can help me out. This suck big time. I will be so happy if the #!@$ got fix.
