Default Perrin custom AP maps...?

Not sure if this was posted already....Has anyone noticed Perrin now offeres Stage 1 - 4 custom maps for the Access Port for $180, They claim you can gain 20% more power than off the OTS maps...Which is basically what a pro tune would gain you over the OTS map

Im curious if anyone on here has used one of there maps, or know if they are any good...$180 seems pretty cheap, and they will send you a map according to your mods

Im tempted to get one just because its so cheap

I doubt you'll gain as much as they said would if the tune is safe for all cars. I would want to see if it's a safe tune first. I just don't see those maps making that much power over OTS maps safely.

if you are in SoCal just pay a little more and get a real tune. IMO buying another OTS map would be a waste of money.

Im already pro tuned by Tim Bailey from PDX..I was just wondering what was up with the perrin maps

Anyways i found out PDX is the one who does there maps

But if you go through PDX direct its only 150$...I guess perrin is making an extra 30$ since they are the middle man

The PDX maps they mail you are acually really good from talking to people who have them, just not as fine tuned as a road tune would be...But like i said, perrin is the middle man, so going through PDX would be easier and cheaper anyways...Plus you can talk to the deirect which will guarentee you that they get the correct info on what you need

agreed!!!!!!! i got a pdx e map from them and im very happy. Its a lot smoother than the ots maps from cobb and even bumped the boost a bit.
Im happy with them no doubt.
