| Junior STI Driver | I installed an OTS stage 1 (APv2) map on my 06 STi and dynode the vehicle. I then uninstalled the AP and did a baseline dyno run. Two days later, I installed a catless DP and attempted to flash to the OTS stage 2 (91 octane) map but there was no “installation” option. After the AP unit powers up, it goes straight to change map, with options for live data, uninstall, etc... If you select “change map” it states that the AP is not installed on the vehicle. Unfortunately, if you look at the “about” screen on the AP, it shows the AP as installed on a 2006 STi. When I uninstalled the unit, I followed the AP user guide instructions. Specifically, I selected the “uninstall” option, waited for the uninstall operation to complete, and removed the AP from the vehicle. I spoke with Parker (a great rep, by the way) at COBB and he requested I ship him the AP and my vehicle’s ECU for analysis… I shipped the AP and ECU... fingers crossed. Any advice? Any other experiences like this? This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

| Junior STI Driver | For the record: COBB did a great job of “righting” this issue. They paid for all shipping costs and got everything back to me extremely quickly. Further, they were extremely responsive via e-mail and phone. Excellent customer service and product support. It’s nice to find a company that truly stands behind their product.
