IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2007 Trader Rating: (2) | I guess this is a newbie question, anyways, was racing 1/4 miles with a bone stock 05 Sti last night. I'm 07 Cobb ots stg 2 w/ launch control & flat foot shifting. Anyways, he was a little ahead of me off the line everytime, which I attribute completely to my skill level, but when we were in gear and WOT, we were going exactly the same speed throughout the gearbox. Shouldn't I be pulling on him since I'm stage 2 and supposedly another 40horses or so? I know they say its all about the driver, but he won 2 out of 3 1/4mile runs, and in every one we were pulling right along side each other. This ad is not endorsed by this member. I know you have launch control etc but that still wont beat a skilled driver. BTW, I doubt his 05 was completely stock..... This ad is not endorsed by this member.
