Default Turn in questions, rear end flex pushing the front?

Not sure where to post this but lets see how we go. I've been getting strange feeling from the car in low speed (25-40mph) tight turns. When I turn in it 'feels' like the back inside is flexing up and wanting to push the front wide, but it still turns in fine. I need to find out if this is normal, my driving, can be fixed or is something wrong?

While checking the rear for something loose/flex I find I get a squeaking from the back end near the trunk at lot so I checked the trunk area and there is paint rubbed off on both insides of the lip of the quarter panels were the trunk sits when closed. Same spot on both sides like the trunk lid and quarter pannels are rubbing. At rest with the trunk closed it sits normal about 1/4 inch of clearance. The only change from stock is a hitch mount.
Does the rear end really flex enough for the trunk to rub?

Is this normal, I've only had the car a few months so still getting used to it, or something that can be corrected?

I found the same issue where the paint is being rubbed off where the trunk lid meets the quarter panels. It's a very small amount of rubbing, but rubbing none the less. Not sure if this is a fitment issue or the rear end flexing.

I would think having a hitch on the car would stiffen it up a bit. I'd also think if the back end flexed that much you'd have other more apparent problems (ie. cracked rear glass, etc.).

...You do know our cars are notorious for understeer, right? Sounds normal to me. Try it for six months then see if you can test drive an STI with swaybars. World of difference! I just put Whitelines on my '07 and now I have just the right amount of oversteer. Try different cornering techniques to compensate. I got pretty good at using pendulum turns to throw the back end around. Lots of fun! Enjoy.

Get an X-Brace. No more rear-end flexing or squeeking. Plus your car will corner better since the brace keeps the rear struts in place and the tires in better contact with the ground.

I'd get a rear strut bar and see if that helps. They can be found for dirt cheap on ebay.

I've got the Cusco V-brace, Whiteline subframe locks,Tic's diff bushings, STi pinlk trailing arms and lateral links, IPD 24mm rear sway, Whiteline end links, Whiteline coil-overs, 17x8.5 Rota Slipstreams with Toyo RA-1s @ 40psi. I get inside wheel lift. So, you can get it too stiff.

I have this as well. Right where wing is the trunk and rear fenders have rubbed the paint off the fender on both sides. Did you find the cause?
