Default WTB: 2004 Silver STI Wheel(s)

I messed around with it when I first got the car and found AUTO netted the best 60fts and ET's.

Default Got some rally armor stuff installed w/ PIX

My 2 cents: according to a rally pilot from the Subaru Canada team (who was my instructor at a rallye driving school), this is a "gadget"! He told me to leave it at Auto all the time and let the computer do the job 100 times better than what we can do ourselves by playing with the DCCD setting.

i use lock when i launch...

works way way better than auto

for some reason lock was always safer due torque always split evenly rather than torque fluctuating all looking for tracking..

i broke an axle when i was on auto

Which setting (auto, manual lock, manual between lock and open or manual open) put less stress to the drivetrain? I've used Auto and Manual (2 arrows before full open) and got the same results at the track (60ft and et). What you guys think?

anything that allows tire spin will put less stress on the drivetrain, to a point. if a diff is trying to stop that spin, it will be heavily stressed.

Personally, I never touch it on the track (auto).

I think the only real purpose in DCCD is to let the system know things it cant detect on its own. For instance, it's raining hard out. I know this, but the system in auto wont know anything until wheels start to slip. I say let it know ahead of time.

when i first started autocrossing I played with it a lot. bottom line when i left it in auto fastest times hands down. I dont even mess with it anymore just set it on auto and leave it.
