IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2006 | This is geared more so towards track days and spirited driving. I find myself using entry level sparco speed gloves and "race"(model) shoes. I love the feel of the race shoes with the thin sole and large heel grip. They also are very comfortable to walk around in all day(huge plus). The material feels great and the mid top is not restricting at all. And best of all(to me at least) they look great! I also love the speed gloves. The sued palms grip the stock sti wheel nicely. I have sweaty hands and the gloves do wonders on those hot summer days. Yet they also do great in the winter to keep my hands warm. Just wanted to see what you guys are using, what you like, and why you like it.... https://www.upr.com/images/M/scarpa_...nr-352_182.jpg http://www.ogracing.com/images/produ...OVE-middle.jpg |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2006 | ^ The only thing that bothers me about the piloti shoes is the styling, they almost look like rock climbing shoes. But function wise their great. Are you wearing them as daily shoes or just driving shoes? |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2008 | I wear Puma "drift cat" shoes. It's the second pair of Puma driving shoes I've had and they've been great. Nice rounded hee with rubber going all the way back, nice thin sole. They work great and are very comfy for walking around. I'm only a size 9.5, but in my Alfa they're about the only shoes that give me enough room to properly use the pedals. That, and they're "Nurburgring tested" (they got me around that track a few times, hehe). As for gloves, I rarely use 'em. All I do is autocross and after putting on sunscreen it's nice to have a pair of gloves for some better grip. As far as the gloves go, they're an old set of OMP's, really thin leather palms so the feel is quite nice. |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2009 | I've been rocking the DC driving shoes and Sparco gloves. The DC shoes are really amazing. All the little design things they did to the shoe really work well. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2008 | Shoes: I wear Piloti shoes every day, so you can expect that I wear them for racing. They're extremely comfortable, last LONG, and are very inexpensive these days. Gloves: I use my open-finger kayak gloves. They are suede on the underside (palm and half-fingers). I prefer them over racing gloves because they are very light-weght and breathable. |
