Default Which Subie is best for a Daily Driver?

What year subie is the best as a daily driver. I am curently in the market for a dd and am considering..

MPG... okay so i have a sti, and we all watch our gas gauge move as we drive

So i want something that will be good for around town...maybe an old legacy sedan, or would a 2.5 be better? ?

I should stay away from a subaru for MPG but.... you know the cars grow on us

I'd say like an '03 bug eye wrx, or perhaps an 06 legacy. Just a thought..

08 Legacy Special edition... 28-30 MPG takes regular fuel... been good to me so far. Cheap lease too.

I should refine my topic! I am looking to keep the price under 9000 hopefully :/

I have a new 07 sti with just 3,xxx miles, so an 08 is way too much moola lol

I was leaning towards a 02/03 bug eye wrx....something i can swap my parts into when i go bigg :]]

but is the gass okay on those ? so far a buddy told me his 2000 rs gets him 25-27 mpg

Buy a Geo Metro and throw a Subaru badge on it, that will get you about 40+ mpg .
