How do you guys drive?

Just wondering..How do you guys drive your STi? Like WOT all the time? Or you guys just cruiz and beast when needed?

Fuel cut, every gear, even when parking, even in reverse. It's the only way a true street racer can live.

Cruise mostly... No point in looking like an ass when leaving a red light. On the streets I drive reasonably and try to time the lights so I don't have to disengage the clutch.

Open freeways are another story.

I like to think I drive pretty fast, but I still have my stock tires and brakes at 31k miles!! Am I a grandma?

LMFAO. I drive somewhat reasonable around town, usually the speed limit... around turns. I save the a**hole driving for a back road or some other secluded road. Like i always tell the cops "I didnt buy her to see how slow she is" Makes em laugh everytime. Haha

+1. i do have to stay off the throttle around cops tho, even tho here we don't have a decibel level for exhaust i defiantly get looks for it...

Not if they are mostly highway and freeway miles. OTOH, if you do a lot of canyon driving...you bought the wrong car.

It depends how much gas is that day. I've gone from NASCAR drafting on the freeway to driving with hazards on cause Im driving so slow. Gas is getting up there.

me too only diference with me is even while I'm stopped I have the gas floored so I'm ready when the light changes

100% city driving for me. I always laugh when people cut in and out of traffic and gun it when it turns green. Then 30 seconds later, i catch up to them at the next light. As far as the city goes, theres no reason to go above 3000 rpms. U'll just get stopped by the next light anyways
