I accelerate quickly from most lights, playing the "How fast can you get to the speed limit" game. Inevitably, someone (usually in a minivan

) always thinks I'm racing them and gives me a fly-by.

On backroads, I try to use the brakes as little as possible. 55MPH zone? 25MPH curve? No problem.

I just like to feel the G forces.

I like to open it up (EWG that is) early in the morning, smells like napalm! I love to romp with a clear road ahead. I always see how fast I can take corners as long as no one is around. Speed limit when I am around cars most of the time but I try not to be around other cars most of the time.
I get off the gas and coast to lights and then see how fast I can get to the speed limit as well.

90% of my driving is city and pretty congested at that. The only time i get to have a little bit of fun is on the off/on ramps.

Same here, although recently I've begun to get worried about gassing it on onramps since you can get a ticket for "unsafe acceleration" even if it only to 65 mph (speed limit).

I wish there were some back roads here. Or some really open freeways. Racing on the Gardenstate parkway or the NJ turnpike is FTL.

Are ever caught in the same place at the same time, there is no telling what will happen next.......but to just give you a small idea.......Try putting a huge magnet on the bottom of your shoe and another on top of the gas pedal..................THATS HOW I DRIVE.
