i would leave the boost alone...

also should ask the dealer if the ecu map has been changed on it as 07's have been known to blow engines on the stock map (subaru has a few TSB's on it)

Your car is gonna start to build boost around 3500rpm. It will taper off around 6500 rpm. Shifting at 6500 is probably the best shift point. Also, try not to lug the engine at all if possible. Don't let it drop below 2000rpm unless there is no load on the engine. Does that about cover it?

Make sure you launch at 10,000 rpm... Youll have atleast 23 lbs of boost! WOO-HOO! Ignore me...

i just went to the track yesterday and i got a 13.1 at 104 mph. you can do this to. if you get the stage 2 power package with access port through cobbtuning. and launch at 5500 rpm of the line it takes some practice but man its worth it.

maximize your boost? WOT is the way to go then. but I really don't know what you're asking.

just remember, the more you're boosting, the more gas you're using. I know you didn't buy the STI for economical reasons but if you're at all concerned about refilling the gas tank every other day, you'd get a boost gauge and watch how your boost fluctuates as you daily drive.
