And 15psi is'nt considered overboosting I dont think... thats a little over 1bar.
Do you have a Boost Gauge?
But non the less you need some engine management.

Subarus don't take too well to modifications while running on the base map. A map is basically what your ECU uses to control air/fuel ratios, timing, etc. When you do modifications like an intake, exhaust, or uppipe you are going beyond what the ECU can manage so it would need to be re-tuned. For the newer WRXs and STis there is a wealth of engine management tools available. For a 95 STi you may have to go to a tuner and have it done professionally.

BTW do you have any pics of the car??? Is it a JDM STi? Or is it a 95 Impreza with a new STi motor??

i would assume australia. you are describing over boosting and fuel cut. Get the car tuned for your mods.

Just to clarify, since this happened recently to me with my first re-flash... "boost cut" issues refer to the ECU cutting fuel flow to prevent damage due to it's assessment of over-boosting.

Probably safest to visit a tuner or other professional.

Otherwise, you could get a Tactrix cable, download Enginuity, and start logging. But, on the other hand, you still should have access to someone who can help with troubleshooting. Unless you're really patient and curious
