I did it when my car was stock only at the drag strip. Definitely not easy on the car, I dont recommend trying it if you have never done it before.

my friend took my other friends old Jetta out for a ride and did some no-lift shifts. It was humorous because the car only had 98 hp so it would just bog down on any shift

I would agree that you tune for a no-lift before trying it because you don't want to hit the fuel cut accidently

Well, assuming that the car has the Launch control and flat floor shifting map from cobb with AP v2. this is not that hard on the car... sure it isnt good, but it limits to the spot where you would normally shift (hence me saying, if set up properly).

Fun to play with but after a week or two, you wont use it again. I have a apv2 and about a month after cobb came out with FFS and LC, I went back to the normal maps without it.

LC never gets old, nothing better than sitting at a light having some guy eye you and creeping forward.....then hammer on the 2-step next to him, no need to actually launch but it typically gets the point acrossed.

I never lift when I shift, my rpms stay in the powerband, and I hold boost through the shift. And it sounds sick when you powershift! Don't be scared to try it, that what rev limiters where designed for. Practice makes perfect! Now go out there and powershift(aka no lift shift)!
