Carbonetic clutches are know for there ability to hold lots of TQ, while still remaining street able. They convert the typical pull type clutch into a push style, to give you a great pedal feel. And yet provide the performance you expect.

Carbonetics Twin Carbon Clutch is designed for high HP, Application. Perfect for Drag Racing and Road Racing, as the clutch will work better the harder you drive it.
However Unlike many other clutches, Carbonet clutches are very street able and driver friendly.
1100KG pressure plate is recommended for a street driven vehicle.
1350KG pressure plate is recommended for race only vehicles.

This is our 3" Aluminum single shaft for all the Subaru platforms. These shafts are in some of the fastest Subaru's around the world including Easy Streets WRX and Big Valleys STI. the shafts do have some clearance issues so the floor will need to recontoured a little (some floor braces flattened along with the floor you must have ¾" clearance all the way around the shaft in every area) these shafts are designed for street use but may also be used for racing, so we need to advise you the shaft has a 600WHP max and a critical speed of 150mph. These shafts have had more than both put into them but these are the recommended limits. This shaft is less than half the weight of the factory 2 piece and by eliminating the hanger will remove the lag the factory shaft has when the hanger moves up and down.

These units are rated to 600WHP, and will handle the abuse that drag racing puts on the rear axles!
The STI is a very stout car; the pancake motor and all wheel drive make it a very desirable machine to upgrade into an atmosphere sucking monster. The front inner and outer C.V.'s are very strong but the bars are not, this is a 300M bar upgrade including bars boots clamps and grease. You will need to take you C.V.'s off and put them onto these bars. After installation the axle will handle just about anything. Be very careful when ordering the bar upgrade the axle from year to year are interchangeable but the internal spline (inside the boot) are different. If you're not sure disassemble the axle and give us the spline counts. The price shown is for a kit with (2) axle bars (4) boots and (8) clamps and enough grease for all.

Rear Axles
This is our bar upgrade for the STI rear axles making them capable of 600hp, the inner and outer c.v. are made from a decent chromoly but the center bar is made from some other cheaper material, you will have to remove the axle ends and re-assemble them on the bars we supply. Please be very careful when ordering this part, the different year axles are interchangeable but the bars are not. If you completely sure take the axle apart and give us the spline counts. The set comes with (2) upgraded bars, boots and grease.

what is the weight of the alum driveshaft compared to the oem? any idea on power gains with it?

The shaft is about 1/3 of the weight, if not more. I did not have OEM one here to put on the scale, so I dont know the exact weight difference.
