Default TiC Rear Diff Mount Bushings (Comfort)...?

Anyone have these WITHOUT the outrigger bushings? I heard the outrigger bushings even in the comfort version produce a good amt of annoying NVH and being as i hate NVH but also hate how the rear diff feels, i was thinking of just adding only the mount bushings, along with some group N tranny mounts. So what's up?

Different tolerances maybe or there is no increased NVH at all? My car is my DD and anything i get done on it thats more than your average install i have to pay to have done, so thats why im concerned before I jump into it.

I have the Rear Diff Mount bushings (race) & a group N trans mount. I used to have the outriggers too but removed those, too noisy for me.

I now have just the first two mentioned and i love it. Theres a slight whine from the R.diff at 60-65 mph but after a month I got so used to it that I actually LIKE the noise. it makes the car sound a lot cooler like a racecar... kinda, no longer annoying at all!

GET THEM FROM TurnInConcepts.com NOW!!!

oh, and doing either of these installs is not that bad. Ive done the R.Diff mounts on two WRXs and it was enjoyable. the trans mount should probably be done with an impact or air gun for ease of disassembly, but wrenches work too

Thank you WCLW, that is kind of what i was looking for. I already have the rear diff mount bushings in the comfort version so I dont need to buy those. What about the tic tranny crossmember bushings as far as noticeable performance vs. NVH...?

I had the rear diff mount bushings installed without the outrigger bushings just so I could feel the difference between each mod. I was quite pleased with the feel.

Then two weeks later I installed the outrigger bushings. The car is my daily driver and I'm commuting 30+ miles a day and I love it. I have no complaints.

I purchased the Unabomber's Sexy Rear End...and just did multiple installs. I still have the tranny xmember bushings sitting around. But I'm waiting for the Cusco Motor/Tranny mount to do them all at once.

im sure there was an increase in NVH, but 1, not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, and 2, not a huge enough increase to make me notice and be like " holy crap"...ya know? but i am half deaf so that might explain it!!!

I have the comfort bushings w/o the outrigger bushings. I installed the outrigger ones, but took them out a few weeks later..too much NVH for my taste.

For some reason, I'm getting a sound almost like scratching on my left side. I think it may be related to my outrigger removal, but I can't be 100% sure. Not really much to do with your question, but I wanted to add this in.

If you have to ask then you want comfort. If you really really worried about it then skip the outriggers.

You hate NVH and are stiffening the driveline? Your gonna' either be miserable, or truly fall in love with how the car performs after the goodies are installed and live happily with NVH.

I have EVERY TiC bushing available, save some of their newest offerings, and I also have the Group N engine and tranny mounts. I would never go back and Highly recommend them.

Good luck.
