I like them cuase you get 3 types of stiffness bushings to choose.
Does Cusco offer different types of bushings?

The billet aluminum is a definit plus for strength.

I'll be getting mine next Saturday from Mike at Innovative Tuning and I will weigh them against stock and group N ones for comparison.

Cuscos definitely only come in one stiffness and they're most definitely stiff... And as far as NVH goes, between the mounts and all of the other "race" bushings I have, the car has a constant howl (not to be confused with a hum... we're talking a full-on rally car "howl" from the diffs and the rest of the drivetrain) between 40 and 70 mph.

I love the sound, but there are times when it gets annoying (i.e. long trips at a sustained 65 mph becomes torturous after a while).

Theres about 60 of them.
I probably threw out 20 or so slips where I blew shifts.
I think group N mounts are fine for stock turbo cars that are driven hard on occation. But not this much abuse.
Wow! You run your car at the track like twice a week. Ive had my Sti for 1.5 years and taken it to the track.....never...Scared to launch, its so much more harsh than my 03 wrx.

Guys the Cusco ones are boxed plate steel. There is no bushing to speak of so there are no stiffness options...they're totally solid.

Dont be scared. Our cars are really strong. Do it man. I just got launch control and can't wait to try it after I replace my mount.

if you have even seen one in person, you would know there is *some* bushing material in them. it is not compliant at all, but it is there.

What "setting" are your bushings? I'm running everything that Karboy and TiC offers and given the choice, I bought the "Race" options.

Trust me, it howls.

Just looked at my group n's, I need new mount! ;(

Anyone have the beatrush mounts? I am considering these vs the cuscos. I guess I will make a thread.
