And while we're at it, put it in the right forum (Drivetrain in this case) and stop using "Help" titles. Be descriptive.

There is only one thing connecting the engine to the transmission/drivetrain: the clutch. If you are experiencing slippage between the two, it's the clutch.

It's probably after 3,000 RPM because that's where you start generating a lot of power. Replace the clutch.

ok thanks i kinda thought it might be the tranny because i thought after 3thousand rpm the clutch didnt have to do with it. and is that covered under warranty?

What do you think transfers the torque from your flywheel to the rest of the driveline?

Read up:
http://auto.howstuffworks.com/clutch.htm

The clutch is usually considered a wear item like brake pads so unless they fail unusually early or due to an incorrect installation from the factory, they are not always warrantied. Check the paperwork that came with your car, more specifically the warranty booklet to see what's covered and call your service manager to ask if the clutch replacement is covered.

Replace your clutch quickly. You may have to do the flywheel if you've been driving this way for a while. I had my clutch replaced on Sunday, '04 with 37k miles. Flywheel had to be replaced due to some blueing and heat cracks.
