Yes yes I get that from the last half doze times its been said. What I'm saying is, its difficult to visualize because the front and rear have a different torque ratio even though they spin at the same rate. I say that because we can see the wheels spinning and we can feel the power pulling, but we can't really see the torque splitting on anything other than a graph (not counting the front wheels being on ice scenario).

Look all I was interested was if anybody has really had a problem with a diff remaining locked-up in limp mode.Being that with a warning light(the warning light is the indicator for neutral position on the dccd display) on while driving. The dealer has not been very responsive, just a shrug of the sholders and what do you want me to do?I'm not happy about that so I continue my path of life alone with little support from Costa Rica Simian technology expert's. Thank you and again does anybody know a service rep

if it was simple than it wouldn't be effective.

Trust me Auto is good for more then 99% of the conditions out there. with the .5% being donuts (Full Open) and .5% being stuck in deep deep snow (Full Lock)

DCCD is controlled by a very smart computer.

I was hoping this was a place to accually compare problems that are occurring with the car,not your interpetation of the owners manual.Hey there shouldn't be anything personal going on,we're just trying to enjoy the ride!

You've got a relatively new car that should be fully under warranty. We obviously can't trouble shoot your problem given the dearth of info from you. The best course of action is to politely demand satisfaction from your dealer, it is entirely up to them to fix the problem if the car is still under warranty. Don't settle for shoulder shrugs, tell them exactly what you want. Without being able to inspect the car and check out the various plug/sensors/control modules, our ability to fix your car for you= 0. Good luck with your dealer.

Sure, blame dccd for drivers overcooking a sharp corner and wadding their cars. BS, that's pure operator error. Your dealer is an idiot.

To nit pick, you use the automatic function of the DCCD with nearly any turn you make while in Auto, it can be very seamless depending on the level of sensor input, or violent if there is lots of slip. I've had to use manual in full lock several times this winter in ski area parking lots, I love it. Especially with a set of studless ice tires...fun stuff.
