Default Very odd transmission issue- is this normal?

Maybe I am just now noticing it, but I wanted to check in with the forum to see if this is normal.

When taking a turn from a stop (like turning left at a stop sign), the car will accelerate in small "pulses", like it is losing traction. Is this simply the differential doing its job?

Cool, thanks for the answers guys.

Will lowering the car from stock (about an inch or so) affect the differentials?

it wont really affect the dif's if you lower your car, the lsd's will always cause a hop or stutter when turning

You may be lifting a wheel which multiplies this effect.

it won't hurt your diff's but if you lower it more than an inch it can negatively affect your handling.
